Ruiqi Fang has been praised for her “ intense and thrilling playing" (Huashang Newspaper) andhas performed as orchestral soloist, recitalist and chamber music player at the Beijing Concert Hall, the National Center for the Performing Arts, the Taipei National Concert Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, at the Palau de la Músicain Valencia, Spain.and at theBasilica Menor del Convento de San Francisco de Asisin Havana, Cuba. In the summer of 2018, Ms. Fang gave lectures and master classes in Shanghai Steinway Center, Xi’an Baisi Music &Art Center, Xianyang Normal University during her China tour, and was on the panel for the 11thShanghai International Youth Piano Competition (Shaanxi division.)
The winner of the Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition at Manhattan School of Music, Ruiqi Fanghas been a prize winner in numerous piano competitions, including the Zhujiang Youth Piano Competition, the First Kawai Piano Competition, the Second Steinway Piano Competition, Taipei Chopin International Piano Competition, Artur Balsam Competition for Duos, and Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition.
Active as a highly acclaimed collaboration pianist, Ms. Fang has worked with numerous leading musicians such as flutist Sir. James Galway, violinist Pinchas Zukerman, Lucie Robert, Nicholas Mann, cellist Colin Carr and Bonnie Hampton. Ms. Fang works as collaboration pianist at Manhattan School of Music since 2011 and she also worked as collaboration musician at Manhattan in the Mountains summer festival in 2017 and 2018.
Ms. Fang is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Piano Performance at Manhattan School of Music with Dr. Mikowsky.
