Summer Music Theater Camp!  The Little Mermaid Jr.  (Ages 7-15) 

We are pleased to announce our summer production: Disney’s The Little Mermaid, JR! 
This week-long Summer Music Theater Camp offers classes and coaching in acting, singing, performance techniques, character building, and dance/movement. At the end of the camp, students will join together to present a full production of the Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. 

July 17-21 | 9am to 3:30pm
July 22 | Performance at 2pm at LSM

Cost $490 (Register before May 15 and receive $30 off.  Current Student/Sibling discount $40)

Intro to Suzuki Violin Summer Camp (Ages 4-7)

Join us for this 5 day intro violin class! The camp gives you and your child a chance to experience fun, friendly, suzuki-style violin classes led by our excellent violin faculty. Parents participation is recommended with an optional 60min Parent Training Class available at no additional cost. Violins available for in-class use at no additional cost. For students taking multiple sessions and interested in renting a violin, violin rental starts at $30.46/month.

July 17 - 21 | 6pm - 6:45pm  Learn to play "E String Concerto"
July 24 - 28 | 4pm - 4:45pm Learn to play "A String Concerto"
July 31 - Aug 4 | 5pm - 5:45pm Learn to play "Open String Blues"
Parent Training Classes offered on Thursday 6/22, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27 at 7pm (Choose one: RSVP)

Little Mozarts Summer Camp (Ages 4-6)

This award winning, innovative piano introduction course offers an imaginative and enjoyable learning experience for beginners and current students. Little Mozarts Summer Camp inspires a love of music while establishing a healthy daily practice route. Students will feel a sense of accomplishment as they learn their new piece. Join us for summer piano fun! Small class-size allows for a tailored teaching approach.

Beginner Class (new student, or recently completed Level 1)
Take 1 week for Level 1 intro or review or 2 weeks to receive Level 1 completion certificate.

July 24 - 28 | 5pm - 5:45pm  Learn to play "Old McDonald Had A Farm"

Note-Reading Level (recently completed Level 1 or 2, or Level 3 students for review)
Perfect for note-reading review, or for students ready to move on to Level 2.  Take 1 week for intro and review, or 2 weeks to receive Level 2 or 3 competition certificate.

Guitar Applied Music Theory Intensive

This intensive class will concentrate in filling music theory gaps for advanced beginners and intermediate level guitar students. It will cover fretboard knowledge, finding intervals on the guitar chord formations and analyzing harmonic progressions.

  • Fretboard knowledge: All notes on all positions on every string. Discover different tricks to find and memorize notes in difficult positions.
  • Intervals: Learn the theory of intervals and memorize octaves fifths, fourths and thirds.
  • Triads: Creating triads, finding triads in different positions/inversions.
  • Functional Harmony: Analysis of music pieces including finding cadences and basic diatonic chords.

Guitar Technique Booster

The class provides each student with the tools to create a daily practice routine to strengthen their technique. This class includes daily warm ups, right hand technique and left hand arpeggio work. 

  • Ascending and descending slurs (hammer-ons and pull-offs)
  • 2 octave major and minor scales
  • Arpeggio patterns
