Teaching Philosophy: I believe the best guitar lessons are both educational and enjoyable, creating an encouraging environment where students can grow with confidence. My teaching approach combines practical technique, music theory, sight reading, and song repertoire in a structured program that is tailored to each student's goals, interests, and skill level. I carefully track each student's progress to build on their strengths, strengthen weaker areas, and provide clear practice goals that support steady improvement. Beyond learning songs, I help students understand the musical concepts behind them so they can play with expression, creativity, and confidence. I also encourage students to explore a wide variety of musical styles and develop their own artistic voice. For those interested in creating original music, I offer instruction in songwriting and composition, guiding students through melody, harmony, song structure, chord progressions, hooks, and creative techniques to help turn their musical ideas into complete, original songs. - Craig Graham
