Private Lesson Program and Tuition
Lessons continue year-round. All private lesson students pay on a month-to-month basis. Tuition is due the first day of the month. A late fee of $35 will be charged if there is a tuition balance after the 7th of the month. Monthly auto-payment options are available at no additional cost. Tuition will be pro-rated to reflect the school calendar and for new students starting mid-month.
Monthly (4) lessons | $208/30min | $268/45min | $328/60min
Family members and students studying multiple instruments receive a $20 per month ($5 per lesson) discount off above rates. Refer a friend to become a Lindeblad School of Music student and both parties receive $50 towards tuition.
Lesson Rescheduling Policy
Our teachers are in high demand and have reserved your scheduled weekly lessons time for you. We cannot guarantee their availability for your rescheduled lessons but can look into options if the following procedures are completed:
- The rescheduling deadline is 24 hours in advance notice. Monday students must contact us by 2pm on the previous Saturday.
- Contact the school office at 973-439-7292 or firstname.lastname@example.org
- There are no credits or refunds given for missed lessons.
Please call our office ASAP. If you do not call in advance, you will forfeit the lesson, no exceptions. We allow TWO same-day cancelation per a year (September-August)
Re-scheduled lessons must be taken within 30 days. If your instructor’s availability does not match your schedule the lesson may be scheduled with a substitute instructor.
Withdrawal/Leave of Absence:
We require 4 weeks notice prior to withdrawal or leave of absence. Please fill out the form available at the front desk. Verbal requests will not be honored.
LSM may take photographs/videos of classes, students and student performances for use in our publications and on our website for development and promotional purposes. All photographs are taken and used in a professional manner only.
The school does not assume responsibility for unattended students. The right to take any legal action for injury sustained on school property is waived. Irregular lesson attendance or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of enrollment.
